It has countless names, some people call it DG, some people call it data guard, some people call it data guard. Among all the features of Oracle, it has a slight position, which is (applause)...... Oracle data guard.
Besides being a backup and recovery tool, DG can create, maintain, manage and monitor standby database to ensure data security. Administrators can improve database performance by transferring some operations to stand by database.
