CISSP Work Experience Requirement

For a complete CISSP, you need five years of experience in the listed domains.

Can any of you submit your current job as proof of employment in the listed fields? Another option is to provide you with another CISSP certification guarantee. Can anyone do this? I plan to join CISSP soon, but I am worried that my experience may not be accepted because I mainly work in server and network rather than security department.

If you have a friend which is CISSP-certified, he/she can vouch for you and you don't have to wait for the next 5 years to become a full-pledged CISSP.
