Hi there, I can answer partially for you but let me tell you in advanced, if you cannot expand on this question on your own you shouldn't even be studying these topics in the first place my friend. You won't be able to even be in a meeting to discuss these and far more complex topics when the time comes.
Anyways, it all depends on the infrastructure. Are you presented with a L2 or L3 segment of aggregation? The way I see it, they are handing you out a possibility to aggregate from the access layer to the distribution so the best option for me would be to inspect the hardware on each given hardware switch and see what is the biggest bandwidth I can get from the upstream ports available. Does it support transceivers and which kind? These are key questions you should place, which should tell you, you should have a general idea of hardware in the first place. What's the software supportedand what kind of aggregation methods does it support? I hope it helps. |
